| John, As voter suppression runs rampant in Republican-controlled states across the country, it is important that we keep an eye on our own backyard. Montana Republicans have instituted new voting rules that could disenfranchise many in our Native population. A new law that forbids an individual from delivering another person’s absentee ballot to the polls would disproportionately affect Native Americans in Montana because so many are home-bound or in places without mail service. We need to let the Montana GOP know how we feel about this undemocratic law. Will you sign our petition to call on Congress to pass the For the People Act and outlaw voter suppression?
