Dear John,
The greatest threat to our shared future is the power and greed of fossil fuel industry executives. And thanks to President Trump, they’re on track to expand fossil fuel extraction in the US by at least 400% more than any other country between now and 2030.1
We can’t let that happen.
That’s why we’re ramping up our people power in a big way by organizing communities all across the US to pass a Green New Deal and put an end to the fossil fuel industry's toxic influence once and for all. To help us get there, we’re hiring an incredible team of regional organizers that will dramatically increase the power of our local 350 groups.
That’s where you come in. To supercharge our organizing efforts, we need to raise $35,000 by July 24 — less than a week away. Can you make a tax-deductible donation today to help fund our people-powered campaign?
By reaching our goal of raising $35,000, we’ll be able to hire, train, and deploy a whole new team of climate activists dedicated to bringing new communities into this fight and diversifying the climate justice movement. We’re dead set on building a movement that reflects the true diversity of this country and unites people to create the future we so desperately deserve.
We have a simple recipe for our organizing: shared purpose + willingness to act + lots and lots of people = the power we need to win.
We’re on the ground fighting for a Green New Deal, can you help us win?
You helped stop Keystone XL. You helped divest trillions from fossil fuels. Now we need your help to stop fossil fuel expansion and win a just transition to 100% renewable energy for all.
To change everything, we need everyone. Organizing isn’t easy, but it’s crucial to securing our future.
Thank you,
Patrick
