John,
Our mission at #VOTEPROCHOICE has always been to ensure that all people in America have full, unrestricted legal access to reproductive freedom and healthcare services that are safe, accessible, affordable, and respectful.
Our work won’t be done until every person is free to decide if, when, and with whom to grow a family in safe, sustainable communities. For the past 50 years, anti-choice attacks have escalated not just in city halls and statehouses, but also in school boards across the country.
In the wake of Donald Trump's 2020 election defeat, many conservative extremists and QAnon followers have hatched a plan: run for local offices like school board in order to control schools and the education of our children — making it even more difficult for students to access science-based learning, including accurate sex education.
So as the school year begins, we want to hear from you: do you support science-based sex education in schools?
As anti-choice legislators obsessively fight to dismantle resources like access to birth control and healthcare clinics, threats to accurate sex education stand to disempower young people from making informed decisions about their bodies and their futures.
To ensure true reproductive freedom, we must necessarily protect access to sex education for the young people in this country.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
