$7,690,491

That’s how much cash on hand outgoing Senator Pat Toomey
raised by the end of
Q3 in 2016, the last time this Senate seat was contested. "Cash on hand"
is how much money a campaign actually has left in the bank.

John, our interns dug through some old FEC filings to give you
an exclusive look at Senator Toomey’s actual report from Q3 of 2016.
Here’s what they found.

[ [link removed] ]Pat Toomey's cash on hand at the end of Q3 of 2016: $7,690,491

In a few weeks, John Fetterman will be required by federal law to publish
our Q3 fundraising results in a report just like this one. The first thing
our opponents will look for is how much cash on hand we have.

Let’s be real: $7,690,491 is a lot of cash on hand for a Republican
candidate to have after Q3. In 2016, the GOP was so anxious about keeping
this Senate seat that they spent millions of dollars early-on to protect
it.

Now that Senator Toomey is retiring, they’re getting even more anxious.
The GOP was desperate to win Pennsylvania in 2016, and we know they’ll be
just as desperate in 2022.

That’s why it’s so essential we report as much cash on hand as possible,
starting right now in Q3 of 2021.

[ [link removed] ]With all of this in mind,
John, will you help our campaign expand our
cash on hand by making your first
$5 donation? We must raise as much money as
possible before our next big FEC deadline if we want to flip Pennsylvania
and elect John Fetterman to the U.S. Senate.
