Hello John,

After the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops took a dangerous step into political interference, public backlash was fierce.

In order to impose their will on the American government, the bishops FIRST tried to ban President Biden and other Catholic Democratic elected officials from receiving communion until they end their support for safe and legal abortions.

NOW the chastised bishops are planning a new document that will likely be less directly targeted at President Biden, but still serve the same purpose: weaponizing faith for partisan political goals. Do you think the bishops should be allowed to do this and keep their tax-exempt status? >> [link removed]

John, we think this is a blatant violation of church and state. In fact, partisan political interference like this should jeopardize the Catholic Church's religious nonprofit status. We've heard from 86 of you, but we still want to hear from at least 100 freethinkers on this:
Should Catholic bishops be allowed to interfere in American politics?

Thank you for letting us know how you feel. This abuse by the Catholic Church cannot go unanswered.

P.S. The Catholic Church is a multi-billion dollar organization with a religious exemption from taxes. Politicking from the pulpit is a violation of that status. So we need to hear from you. John, will you let us know what you think about the bishops' attempt to impose their anti-choice views on the entire country? Here's the link. >> [link removed]
