Acting chief of staff and Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Mick Mulvaney provided some stunning revelations this week. In one of his now-rare press briefings, Mulvaney first announced that the G7 Summit would be held at President Donald Trump's personal Doral resort-a direct violation of the Constitution's prohibition of profiting from foreign states. Then, Mulvaney shocked many by revealing that there was "no question about that <[link removed]>," regarding whether Trump had asked him to withhold aid to Ukraine as a part of a quid pro quo-something that Trump and the White House have long denied. House Democrats have issued subpoenas to the OMB in an attempt to uncover details about the decision to halt funding, but so far, the OMB has refused to comply. And yet, Mulvaney could have unwittingly revealed an important piece of information that House Democrats are seeking.
