When: Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:30AM or upon adjournment We need as many people as possible to show their support by testifying in favor of SB 2. LGBT activists are preparing to show up in big numbers to oppose any efforts to protect female athletics from being unfairly dominated by biological males. If you cannot come to the capitol to testify, please submit written testimony to the Public Education committee clerk at: [email protected]. We need you to call select House Public Education Committee members and demand their support on SB 2 – the Save Girls’ Sports bill. The bill had broad support in the House with an astonishing 77 co-authors and joint authors signed on. Despite this overwhelming support, it never received a hearing in the House State Affairs Committee. Senate Bill 29 by Senator Charles Perry was also an option during the regular session for the high school level but died in the Texas House. |
