Maggie Toulouse Oliver, NM Secretary of State

Jack,

New Mexico has recently taken significant steps to increase voting access for its citizens, and I’m incredibly proud to have spearheaded these efforts as Secretary of State.

With your help and all of our hard work together, ballot drop boxes will now officially become a permanent part of our state's election landscape!

Some who want to see ballot access restricted have tried to label this initiative as an “open season” for fraud in an attempt to intimidate voters and sow doubt into our election process.

But I teamed up with other members of our state delegation and continued to push for these new, secure election procedures, making it easier and safer than ever for New Mexicans to cast their ballots.

And then, the state Bureau of Elections Director confirmed what we already knew: Ballot drop boxes are safe and convenient for voters, and they should stay as a permanent part of our election process.

This new rule will continue to improve our election process by making voting easier and more accessible — and I wouldn't have been able to get it done without your support. DONATE $15 NOW to help me stay in this fight, and together, let's keep making pro-democracy achievements for New Mexico >>
