I know that I don't have to tell you how challenging the last few days have been. But I finally had a moment to reflect late last night, and I realized that one of the best things about working with Andy is the example he sets. Through both his words and deeds, Andy is working to build a more inclusive and equitable America for all of us.

Andy represents the best of what politics is and could be. He's an honest, hardworking public servant and just about the kindest person you'll ever meet. When a photo circulated a few months ago of Andy on his hands and knees in a blue suit, picking up trash and debris in the Capitol Rotunda after the January 6 insurrection, I thought, "that's so Andy." Day in and day out, that's the kind of care and commitment he shows for our country and all Americans.

He's too humble to tell you this, but Andy is also brilliant. A former Rhodes Scholar and national security expert who worked in Afghanistan, Andy is not just a top-notch thinker , he's also a doer. These past few days, I've seen him working through the night to bring Afghans whose lives are at risk for working with us to America. Andy will always help anyone in need.

Andy's the type of congressional representative that everyone in this country deserves fighting for us in Washington, and in NJ-03, we're lucky to have him. That's why we can't lose his voice in Congress.

Andy is one of only five Democrats in the entire country running for re-election in a district Trump won, and that's made him a target. National Republicans know their path to retaking the House starts right here in NJ-03, and they're already attacking Andy with misleading ads that are live on the airwaves right now.
