Tell Congress:
"The care economy is the foundation of our economy, supporting millions of seniors and people with disabilities. At the same time, care workers―who are predominantly women and people of color―are underpaid, often living below the poverty line. Congress must include and pass the Better Care Better Jobs Act through budget reconciliation and fulfill President Biden’s commitment to investing in our care economy."

John,
We’re preparing a petition delivery and we need your help.
President Biden has called for a massive investment in our care economy―to not only help seniors and people with disabilities stay in their homes and stay active in their communities, but to ensure care workers are paid a fair wage with benefits.
Senator Bob Casey and Representative Debbie Dingell have introduced the Better Care Better Jobs Act to strengthen and expand access to Medicaid home- and community-based care, and provide better pay for the direct care workforce―who are disproportionately women and people of color.
With Republicans and some so-called moderate Democrats opposing major investments in our care economy, we’re making our voices heard, demanding action. Can you help out and sign the petition today? We need to reach at least 50,000 signers before our petition delivery.
This bill helps fulfill President Biden’s commitment to investing in our care economy, which provides dignity to seniors and people with disabilities, keeps people active in their communities, and ensures economic stability for some of our lowest-paid workers.
Join Social Security Works and our allies and demand Congress expand Medicaid home- and community-based care services by including the Better Care Better Jobs Act in budget reconciliation.
Thank you for joining this fight for a more inclusive future.
