Dear John, LCA is inviting supporters to attend the virtual #MakeFurFarmsHistory campaign launch this Thursday, August 26 at 5:00pm PST / 8:00pm EST. The campaign launch signals the start of a movement to ban fur farming in Canada. The event will be hosted by Taimoor Choudhry, founder of the #MakeFurFarmsHistory campaign and director of the upcoming documentary REAL FUR. The REAL FUR film chronicles the journey of Choudhry, who is transformed from an uninformed, fur-wearing consumer to documentarian and Founder of the #MakeFurFarmsHistory campaign. It also profiles leaders in the animal rights movement, including LCA's Founder and President, Chris DeRose. Although the #MakeFurFarmsHistory campaign is specifically targeted to Canadians, anyone is welcome to join the campaign launch event this Thursday. The virtual event includes an exclusive sneak preview of the REAL FUR film, a live panel Q&A, and special appearances by leaders in the animal rights movement, including Chris DeRose. |
