Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ran on the strongest gun safety platform in history. And in their first months in office, they have taken significant steps to use their federal power to address the gun violence epidemic, committing an historic $5 billion in funding for violence intervention work, publishing model Extreme Risk Protection Order Legislation, urging Congress to act, and more.

But despite these steps, many of the Biden Administration’s gun violence prevention promises remain unfulfilled.
