Social Identity, Building Connections, & Nonviolent Communication Strategies to Support Wellness

This webinar will be led by Taharka Anderson who is a PhD student with a background in restorative justice and organizational capacity building and sustainability. His interactive webinar will provide participants with an opportunity to: 1) Reflect upon how our social identities (race, class, gender, etc.) impact relationship building, 2) Discuss how to express and identify needs and feelings, and 3) Learn to apply strategies from nonviolent communication to determine how to support others’ well-being. This session will also be repeated on September 21, 2021. Also note that one to one sessions will be made available in September to session attendees.
