We'll get right to it — we are writing to ask you to split a $10 contribution between two organizations working on the ground to bring relief to the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake last week.

The sad truth is that escalating climate chaos means that this is not the first natural disaster that the people of Haiti have had to face, and it certainly won’t be the last. That’s why it’s so important we support the people of Haiti as they begin the hard work of recovering from the recent earthquake.

And what the people of Haiti have said repeatedly is that they do not want outside groups that come in and profit off of disasters — what they need from folks like us is to support them directly.

So that’s what we’re asking you to do today:

By contributing to the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund, your donations will go directly to grassroots organizations in Haiti that are saving lives by helping people on the ground access water, food and shelter, and reconstructing their lives. HERF is volunteer-led, meaning 100% of your contribution goes to the people who need it most.

National Haitian Elected Officials Network (NHAEON) partners with the Haitian Government, USAID, and community organizations to rapidly provide much-needed resources to Haitian families who have been directly impacted by the earthquake. By donating today, 100% of your donation will go towards supporting the efforts of trusted organizations on the ground in Haiti.
