The House is in session this week, back from their August recess. And they’re planning to move quickly on passing the budget reconciliation bill.

This budget reconciliation bill is a critical next step in laying the groundwork for as much as $400 billion for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) over the next ten years. We need that investment to clear state home care waiting lists, improve care jobs, and make sure everyone has access to the care they need and deserve.

Over the next few days, House leadership and committee chairs will determine how the money will be distributed to each priority in the bill. They need to hear from us to make sure HCBS gets the investment it needs.
