John, there’s good news and bad news.

The bad news is that we’re still a long way off from reaching our million dollar goal in August — and we’re running out of time fast.

The good news is that I just got out of a meeting with my team, and we’ve got a plan.

I’ll level with you, John: things aren’t looking good. We’re hitting a serious lull in our fundraising at the worst time imaginable.

So I’m hoping that a few folks just like you can chip in $20 each and help us get back on track.

If we do end up missing our August goal ... well, I’m going to have a much harder conversation with my team about cutting TV spending and slashing our voter outreach programs.
