John,
“A code red for humanity.”
That’s the warning experts just issued in a U.N. report on the causes and consequences of climate change.
Simply put, we are running out of time.
But there is still hope. If we come together to take action now, we can mitigate the harm. We’ve already started here in North Carolina, where our administration has prioritized investing in green energy. We’ve developed wind and solar projects that will grow our economy while fighting climate change. And we’re getting a jump on boosting our economy with tens of thousands of new clean energy jobs.
This report just proves that we can’t afford to prioritize politics over our environment for one second longer, so I’m calling on North Carolina Republicans to set aside partisanship and join us in supporting advancements in clean energy. Add your name right now to say you’re with me >>>
John, it is our duty to future generations to leave them a planet that will sustain them. We’re custodians of this world, not the owners.
Permanent climate change is now inevitable, but it’s still up to us to determine just how bad it will be. If we’re going to save this planet for future generations, we need to take action at a societal level — right now.
That has to start by finding energy alternatives that don’t harm our environment, just as our administration is doing here in North Carolina. But we need the state’s Republican politicians to join us if we’re going to build the momentum we need to see to create a green energy future.
Sign our petition to tell the GOP you support clean energy investments in North Carolina >>>
Thanks,
Roy
