The FEC is looking into Boebert’s campaign finance expenses after four personal Venmo payments totaling more than $6,000 appeared on her campaign finance report.

If that’s not shady enough — this bombshell report comes after news broke that she failed to disclose her husband’s $478,000 salary last year working as a consultant for an energy firm.

Why does that matter? Boebert strongly supported bills that benefit the energy industry, including moratorium bans on oil and gas leases on federal land.
