European mental health service rescinds cancelation of Jerusalem event
The announcement comes after initial reports that ENMESH would be canceling the conference due to pressure by the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement against Israel. The Jewish community of Bulgaria, an affiliate of the World Jewish Congress, immediately issued a strong statement in support of the State of Israel and urging EMNESH to reconsider the decision.

Declaration by 12 NGOs: Bulgaria needs a zero tolerance policy on racism and hatred
The joint declaration was issued in the wake of the international outrage over racist chants and Hitler salutes by a group of Bulgarian fans at the England-Bulgaria Euro 2020 qualifier at the Vassil Levski national stadium in Sofia on October 14.

Former Chief Justice Meir Shamgar, who helped shape Israeli law, Dies at 94
Shamgar held a number of senior positions in law enforcement and the Israeli legal system and left his mark on each one. He served as Chief Military Advocate from 1961-1968, Attorney General from 1968-1975, and took his place in the High Court starting in 1975, taking over as Chief Justice in 1983.

New digital map offers walking tours of San Francisco’s hidden Jewish history
The nonprofit S.F. funeral home is opening up the story of Jewish life in the city with a new tool at sinaichapel.org that illuminates the rich history of San Francisco’s Jewish influence. “That’s why it is there: It’s community. It’s about letting people in our Jewish community know there’s been a Jewish presence in San Francisco since the Gold Rush,” said Board Member and former head of the Western Jewish History Center Susan Morris.

New Israel Guinness World Record: Largest stencil artwork on Earth
The work, measuring 267 sq. m., was created by James, who prefers the name Ame72 for his artistic career. The British born artist, 46, has been living in Israel since 2006. His maze is a collection of urban scenes mounted on aluminum panels. The light weight of the frames allows the modular panels to be readily re-arranged.
