Senate Democrats have worked tirelessly to put together a record-breaking progressive $3.5 trillion budget for the Democrats' biggest priorities.
The greedy Republicans are not happy with that price tag -- and we're not surprised.
What IS shocking, friend, is that two Senate Democrats -- Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin -- have sworn to do all they can to cut vital programs from the bill in an effort to lower the sticker price and garner support from Republicans.
Make no mistake, friend, bipartisanship is a good thing -- but only when Democrats stand united. By threatening the solidarity of the Democratic party, Sinema and Manchin are effectively risking an historic opportunity to implement progressive policies just to save face with the party of Trump.
True progressives stick together, friend. That's why When Democrats Turn Out has launched an aggressive campaign to turn up the heat on Sinema and Manchin. But we are falling VERY SHORT of this week's fundraising goal -- and we must reach our goal, or we'll have to scale back our plans to turn up the pressure on Sinema and Manchin.
