🌹 Atlanta DSA August General Meeting, August 28th! 🌹

Join us this Saturday 4-6PM for Atlanta DSA's monthly General Meeting! We will hear the latest from our chapter's campaigns and committees, discuss current events in the chapter, and debate and vote on resolutions (Resolution Amendments are due Wednesday August 25 11:59PM). All members are encouraged to attend, and interested non-members are welcome!

This meeting will be primarily held in-person in a hybrid format, with a livestream available for members to remotely participate. If you are unable to attend and would like to appoint someone to vote on your behalf, proxy voter designations are due on Friday August 27 11:59PM.

If you are attending in person, please wear a mask unless you are speaking at the microphone!

🐷🔨 #StopCopCity Next Steps!

Congratulations, everyone! Thanks to your help in organizing this movement, the vote to #StopCopCity has been delayed for 3 weeks, giving us more time to inform everyone about Atlanta's plan to destroy acres of forest land and build a giant mock city for police to practice military tactics against Atlanta residents. Join us this Saturday from 10am to 1pm for a canvass in East Atlanta (Location TBD) to #StopCopCity.

Be sure to wear a mask and bring a friend!
