Team -- Terri just introduced H.R.4, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would restore and expand key parts of the original Voting Rights Act. This piece of legislation is extremely personal and important to Terri because it builds on the legacy of her mentor and friend, Rep. John Lewis, and the brave Foot Soldiers who risked their lives on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma in pursuit of voting rights in 1965.
