John — While Republicans are busy complaining about issues that don’t matter, Democrats are focused on making a real difference for Americans. With the support of Democrats in Congress, the Biden administration just announced the largest increase of SNAP benefits in history.

This means families will have greater access to healthy food to help them thrive.

Putting checks in pockets, bringing children out of poverty, and fighting for hardworking people is the priority of the Democratic majority. Will you chip in and so we can continue working to make the lives of Americans just a little easier?

$5 $10
$15 $25
$50 Other

This is just the latest example of Democrats making actual change for Americans that need it. Democrats put stimulus checks in bank accounts, shots in arms, and increased tax cuts for families.

When the GOP was in control, they passed a $1.5 trillion dollar tax cut package aimed at benefiting the wealthiest individuals. Now they work diligently to roadblock spending that would directly benefit Americans, particularly our most vulnerable communities.

I’ve taken the food stamp challenge before, attempting to exist on $31.50 worth of food for the week. I learned firsthand it’s not nearly enough, and this move to increase benefits is a step in the right direction.

We can do more for families across the U.S. who rely on SNAP benefits every month. Will you chip in and fight with me for SNAP benefits?

Thank you,
— Hank Johnson
