In Ohio, it's still perfectly legal to fire someone because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. In fact, there are zero protections in place for LGBTQ+ Americans in our state.

Democrats in Congress are forwarding the Equality Act to protect LGBTQ+ Americans from discrimination. But, Mitch McConnell and his allies are blocking this civil rights bill.
