I just got back from a really exciting event.

On the steps of the historic Ohio Statehouse, Morgan Harper gave a historic speech at our campaign kick-off event!

It was the very first rally of our campaign, and a HUGE milestone after officially launching last week. Hundreds of people came out to Capitol Square in downtown Columbus to take part in all the excitement.

Morgan was raised on the east side of Columbus, so it was important that we kick off our campaign where her story began. We were lucky to have an array of community leaders in attendance.

As Morgan said in her speech, "They’re counting me out. But they don’t know the power that lies in you, and the fight that lies in me."

We absolutely have what it takes to flip Ohio’s Senate seat blue and elect a champion for working families in Morgan. The naysayers don’t want to see us succeed. Together, we’ll prove them wrong in the critical weeks and months ahead.
