President Biden is on pace to approve more drilling on public lands than any president since George W. Bush. That startling fact underscores how afraid President Biden is to forcefully curb oil and gas production in the face of industry and Republican resistance.

The Biden administration has already approved about 2,500 permits to drill on public and tribal lands during his first six months in office, according to government data. Clearly, we need to step up to demand the administration shows real climate leadership. It’s time to fight like we live here.
