Good morning friends,

As we continue to pray fervently for the complete and rapid recovery for our beloved Cardinal Burke, I am pleased to confirm and share the update that he is gradually improving. 

His Eminence has been taken off the ventilator which is most welcome news, and the medical staff are preparing for him to leave the intensive care unit (ICU) at the time of this notice and return to his hospital room. 

I know that his family, close friends, and all of us praying around the world are consoled by this progress and His Eminence has expressed his deep gratitude for the many prayers offered on his behalf. Still, let’s continue to remain steadfast and alert in our prayers. I will provide further updates when appropriate.
