John,
When Trump reneged on the JCPOA in 2018, crushing sanctions snapped back into place — hurting Iranians and their families. We asked Iranian Americans to shed light on how sanctions have hurt loved ones abroad, and their stories are heart breaking.

It’s unfathomable to think that the most basic health care and medicines are made increasingly inaccessible to the Iranian people because, not only by the Iranian government's own mismanagement but also by U.S. policy decisions made half a world away. Nurses aren’t being paid. Life-saving treatments are hard to access. Airplane parts can’t be imported and civilian airplane crashes are all too common. U.S. sanctions have real human consequences.
NIAC Action is working tirelessly to urge the Biden administration and Congress to provide urgently needed humanitarian relief to the Iranian people even as JCPOA talks have stalled. But we need your help. We need to have the resources to continue this fight — to continue sharing stories from impacted members of our community. Can you stand with NIAC and commit to a small, monthly gift? [[link removed]]
