| Hello there, As a member of Mike Braun’s Finance Team, I thought it was appropriate to send a memo regarding the nation’s current economic crisis. Senator Braun has been focusing on our nation’s economic status and is deeply concerned about Democrat-led inflation. We have put together some key economic data for your awareness: • U.S. inflation is hovering around 5.4%. • The national debt is approaching $29 trillion. • Democrats plan to forge ahead with a $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill -- a surefire inflation nightmare. The bottom line: Democrats don’t care about our national debt. They never have and they never will. Democratic socialism would cost $42.5 trillion in its first decade. Inflation is a hidden tax slamming hardworking, lower- and middle-income families the hardest: That’s hardworking Hoosier families being harmed the most. Reckless government spending by the Biden Administration and his allies in Congress is driving up the cost of living. Democrats want to TAX, TAX, TAX AND SPEND, SPEND, SPEND.
