Know a middle or high school student interested in advocating for a more just, sustainable, and compassionate food system?

Farm Sanctuary invites youth ages 13-18 to join our Youth Leadership Council (YLC) for the 2020-2021 school year! As members of our virtual YLC, students:

* Take on a leadership role in their schools & communities

* Make a difference for farm animals, workers, communities, & the environment

* Learn about issues of our food system

* Engage in advocacy projects that align with their interests

* Join a community of like-minded peers and young activists from across the country

YLC provides tools, resources, and support to help students change hearts and minds! This is an amazing opportunity for students, who will connect via Zoom Council meetings throughout the year.

Students (age 13-18) interested in joining can email Farm Sanctuary's YLC Advisors at [email protected]. Please include the student's:

* First & last name

* Grade level

* Name of school

* City & state

We'll provide a parent permission form to officially join the Council, and will then be in touch regarding our first Zoom meeting this fall!
