Republicans in Washington continue to whitewash the truth about the Capitol attacks and spread more conspiracy theories about our elections.

 

But my greatest concern is that the Big Lie is impacting our district, too, John. PA Republicans are trying to run an Arizona-style election audit in our state. They've incited death threats against our election officials, with GOP supporters claiming there are “plenty of trees … to hang ropes from” for the “traitors” who protected Pennsylvania's 2020 election results.

 

My team is getting worried, John. We already have Republicans lining up to run against me, all aligned with the Big Lie.

 

I know that I can count on you and that the people in our district trust me to continue representing them in Congress as I have for the past 3 years. But we're expecting to add about 40,000 new constituents with Pennsylvania's redistricting process, and we need to be prepared.

 

We need to show these new constituents that our elections are fair and that I am committed to representing each of my constituents equally in Washington. But, right now, we don't have the funds needed to run the kind of operation that reaches every voter so they can get to know me personally.
