This week, Democrats in the House re-introduced H.R. 4, the latest bill to centralize election power with the federal government.

H.R. 4 is a blatant Pelosi power grab designed to overturn voter protections, like voter ID.

It will take control of election procedures away from the American people in the states and hand it to a legion of woke federal bureaucrats who will make voter fraud easier and fraud detection harder.

After 38 days of Texas Democrats hiding in Washington, D.C., the Texas House finally has enough members present to establish a quorum. The Texas legislature can take up the work they were elected to do—namely, election integrity.

The key election Integrity bill, S.B. 1, is scheduled for a public hearing in the Texas House on Monday, August 23 at 8 am.

Heritage Action sentinels have worked all spring and summer to focus legislators efforts to pass S.B. 1— and they’re still working hard to ensure this bill becomes law and mandates voter ID for vote-by-mail. Read more about S.B. 1.

This week, our country watched in horror and sadness as President Biden failed to ensure the safe evacuation of U.S. citizens from Afghanistan.

Biden’s failure on the international front joins his failures at home, as Biden has failed to secure our borders and has implemented a disastrous economic agenda.
