Friend -- you and I both know that Dean isn't like any other candidate.

He's pledged to refuse a single dime from PACs, federal lobbyists, special interests, and members of Congress. No other representative has made that big a commitment. Not one.

But here's what worries me: Our opponent hasn't made the same pledge. Quite the opposite. He's counting on PAC checks and the support of outside special interest groups -- like those already spending seven figures on attack ads against freshmen Democrats like Dean.

That's why I'm asking today: Will you help us build the team we need to defeat dark money in 2020 and send Dean back to Washington?

As finance director, I spend a LOT of time looking at the numbers. And do you know what number most stands out to me about our recent FEC report?

Zero. Zero contributions from special interests and PACs. And it will always stay that way.

But that means we're going to have to work harder than the other side to build up the resources we need to keep Dean in Washington -- especially as Donald Trump and top Republicans have already made Minnesota a top target in 2020.

Like it or not, the 2020 campaign is here, and Dean is already under attack. Will you chip in to show that you're standing with him?
