Get Inspired: Small Business Success Story
Luis Salinas, co-owner of the Burrito House in Schuyler, Nebraska knows how important community is to small business success, especially during tough times like the pandemic.
The family-owned business has been serving up food for more than 20 years and grew its customer base mainly by word of mouth.
Luis, his brother Jose, and their father run the business, which helps feed the community, including packing plant employees, truck drivers, and other essential employees. When the pandemic hit, the business closed for two weeks, gradually re-opened, and pivoted to takeout.
