GOP Women Call Out President Biden’s Failed
Leadership on Afghanistan

For the past week, Americans have watched
in horror as the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan sent an entire nation
into turmoil and put American lives at risk – all thanks to Joe Biden's
failed and catastrophic withdrawal.

As the Representative for Fort
Drum and the 10th Mountain Division – the most deployed Army division
since 9/11 – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik was quick to call out
President Biden’s feckless leadership and demand a plan to rescue
Americans in Afghanistan safely.
BREITBART: Elise Stefanik: Biden’s
Weak Response Means He is ‘Unfit to Serve As President’

“On the
precipice of the 20th Anniversary of September 11, the images of
Biden’s failed and catastrophic withdrawal, including helicopters
evacuating Americans from our U.S. embassy and Afghans clinging to U.S.
military planes and falling from the skies, will forever be seared into
the American psyche and will not soon be forgotten around the world.
Because of Joe Biden’s weak and feckless leadership, the U.S. is less
safe today than we were before he took office. Joe Biden has destroyed
our credibility with our allies around the world and emboldened our
adversaries like Russia, China, and terrorist groups on the march. This
is Joe Biden’s Saigon.” - Congresswoman Elise Stefanik

CNN: 'We have to
build off that success': GOP hopes women lead the party back to House
majority

“For House Republicans, their path back to power could rest
on the backs of GOP women.

After a historic number of Republican
women were elected to the House in 2020 — including in some of the most
competitive races in the country — the party sees a recipe for
electoral success and is now doubling down on that same strategy in the
battle for the House next year.

What has emerged among party
leaders, operatives and outside groups is a two-pronged approach:
retain their current Republican women in critical swing seats and
recruit additional strong female candidates to run in key battleground
districts that they hope to flip next year.

And so far, there are
signs of that strategy bearing out: A record-breaking number of
Republican women have already filed to run for office, while some of
the GOP's top fundraisers this year have been freshmen Republican
women.”

HouseFile&utm_campaign=epac&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=PG_E_newsletter
_Mace_082021&utm_agency=alpha This week’s GOP Woman of the Week is
Congresswoman Nancy Mace. Mace is South Carolina’s first Republican
woman ever elected to Congress. She is also the first woman to graduate
from the Citadel.

Mace had classmates who served in Afghanistan and
was quick to speak out against Biden’s failed withdrawal. In a recent
interview with Fox News, Mace criticized Biden for dodging reporters
and for failing to lay out a plan to get Americans home safely and
protect our allies.
