Last night, a small handful of House Democrats returned
to the Capitol - giving the legislature the quorum needed to
resume business.

Last night, a small handful of
House Democrats returned to the Capitol - giving the legislature
the quorum needed to resume business.

Finally, after 38 days, our
Republican legislators can get back to doing their jobs and
serving the people of Texas who desperately need help.

While this is a huge win, I'm
still not celebrating.

In fact, I'm still outraged that
these Democrats - many of whom have still not returned -
abandoned the hard-working people of Texas for nearly 6 weeks.

And, I am outraged fleeing
Democrats still retain their committee chairmanships and were not
penalized for their walkout.

That's why today, I want to see
what you think…

Should the Democrats who return
back to the Capitol still be punished for fleeing the state,
abandoning their Constitutional duties, and neglecting the people
who elected them?


YES, they should be punished
NO, they should get off


Please take a moment to let me
know what you think should happen to the Democrats by answering
my question above.
