Sam here with a tale-from-the-campaign-trail August update!

It's been a busy month! In addition to the many visits "the Senator" has been on on the official legislative side, Emily & I:
>Visited the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe's brand new health center. The building is gorgeous, and the model of holistic care is definitely exciting!
>Knocked doors in Rosedale with everybody’s favorite congressman: Derek Kilmer! Having Derek on #TeamEmily is a big deal, and we had great conversations with voters on the doors — including someone Emily's Senate office was able to help with unemployment, the mom of one of the Kilmer girls’ soccer teammates, and a new volunteer with a dog *also* named Frida!
>Set a date and started planning our big community fundraiser — Ideafest — honoring bright ideas from our youngest community leaders. Lookout for updates!
>Signed up to work a few shifts at the Kitsap Dems’ booth at the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede. Stop by and say hi!

It’s not just everybody’s favorite Congressman that makes #TeamEmily strong — it’s all of you! Without the help of community members and neighbors, friends and allies, volunteers and donors like you, Emily would not be where she is right now.
