Hey there —

This week I learned that I had tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. At the recommendation of my doctors, I’ll be quarantining for a while to keep folks safe and avoid spreading the virus.

Today, I’m feeling good and am in great spirits. I’m spending some time reflecting on how grateful I am for the COVID-19 vaccine (and of course, the incredible scientists behind it!) for limiting my symptoms.

We are not out of the woods yet, folks. The Delta variant of COVID-19 is highly contagious and it’s quickly spreading across our country.

If you aren’t already, please get vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccine is free, safe, and effective. We must do everything we can to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities from this deadly virus.
