[2]National Nurses United

We’re coming up on some big events this Fall that could change the game
for our work to win Medicare for All.

We need to get organized, which is why we’re circling up as a movement,
and we want you there.

[ [link removed] ]Will you RSVP right now to join our National Strategy Call next
Thursday, August 26th, to reboot, discuss our priorities ahead, and plan
out our strategy for the fall?

These strategy calls are a key way that we stay united and informed as a
movement. Especially during Covid when we aren’t together in person, these
meetings are a one-stop shop to get caught up and plugged in quickly.

They don’t happen often, but when they do, it’s really important that we
have as many people on the call as possible. And because this is a virtual
gathering, you can participate and ask questions while you cook dinner, go
for a walk, or even fold laundry.

In the coming months, it’s very possible that HR 1976, the Medicare for
All Act of 2021, will have committee hearings in the House. If and when
these hearings happen, it will be a huge opportunity to mobilize – and we
need to be prepared.

In addition, Senator Bernie Sanders is expected to release the Medicare
for All companion bill in the Senate this fall, and we’ll need to put
pressure on every senator to sign on as a cosponsor.

We need all hands on deck to make this fall as powerful as it can be.
There will be many opportunities to push our movement forward – but only
if we have everyone onboard.

August 26, at 5pm PT/8pm ET? You don’t want to miss it.

Hope to see you Thursday.
