John- Dan Crenshaw here. This week, I responded to the disastrous fallout of Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden’s actions have stranded thousands of American citizens, abandoned countless interpreters and contractors who risked their lives to help U.S. service members like myself, and offered up every Afghan woman and girl to unspeakable atrocities at the hands of the Taliban. As always, thank you for your support and please stay up to date with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Now, here’s your brief. WE DIDN'T LOSE A WAR. OR EVEN END ONE. WE GAVE UP. CLICK HERE OR ON THE IMAGE ABOVE TO READ MY WSJ OPED This week, I penned an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal to explain how the crisis in Afghanistan happened and what it means for American prestige and national security. Joe Biden’s decision was reckless and unnecessary. Policy aside, there wasn’t even political pressure to take such thoughtless action. The facts on the ground didn’t warrant a hasty withdrawal, and intelligence predicted the Taliban would eventually take over. Even worse, this decision was made as the spring fighting season began, all but guaranteeing a Taliban offensive emboldened by the knowledge of an imminent U.S. withdrawal and a collapse of morale by our Afghan allies in uniform and in government. America didn’t lose a war, or even end one. We gave up on a strategic national-security interest. We gave up on our Afghan allies, expecting them to stave off a ruthless insurgency without our crucial support, which came at minimal cost to us. This administration’s actions are heartless, its justifications nonsensical. The consequences are dire for innocent Afghans and for America’s prestige. Twenty years after 9/11, I pray they don’t become equally dire for Americans at home. HOW DOES THE SECRETARY OF STATE STILL HAVE A JOB? CLICK HERE OR ON THE IMAGE ABOVE TO WATCH Joe Biden is responsible for this enormous blunder - he owns the lives lost and the devastation in Afghanistan. Equally responsible is Biden’s Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken. State Department was in charge of civilian evacuations. They failed miserably, and continue to fail. When the dust settles it’s hard to see how Secretary Blinken should still have a job. Now, the entire State Department is radio silent because State Department staffers are working from home due to COVID. Congressional offices like mine are coordinating evacuations & delivering critical information because State Department isn’t answering the phones. There was zero preparation, and there needs to be resignations and firings once this is all over. BIDEN LIED CLICK HERE OR ON THE IMAGE ABOVE TO READ MORE The whole situation in Afghanistan is an abject disaster. But what’s the worst part about it all? Joe Biden is lying to the American people. He knew Kabul would fall and yet he publicly stated that it wouldn’t happen. This situation was 100% predictable, but Biden didn’t care. And now there are thousands of American citizens stranded at the mercy of the Taliban. It is hard to imagine what worse leadership might look like at this moment. Biden is a disgrace. BIDEN IS MUCH WORSE THAN WE THOUGHT It's hard to imagine that Biden's actions could be any more incompetent - and un-American - than what we've seen unfold over the past week. But just when you think things couldn't get any worse - this White House finds a new way to surprise us. From destroying American jobs and our economy, opening up our southern border to illegal immigrants, locking down our schools, and now abandoning thousands of American citizens in a war-torn country, Joe Biden is a disaster, and it’s only going to get worse. Raise your hand if the Biden presidency is way worse than you thought it would be. ON SOCIAL MEDIA RECOMMENDED READS FOX NEWS: Rep.
