Biden's Energy Crisis [[link removed]]

Sleepy Joe has proven himself an enemy to the Texas oil and gas industry. He proves it by his words and his actions.

On his first day as president, he killed the Keystone XL pipeline, preventing 830,000 barrels of crude oil from being carried daily to the U.S. Gulf Coast, as well as killing thousands of jobs. Then, he put a pause on oil leasing on federal land. After that, he revoked the oil leases in Alaska created under President Trump. To make matters worse, he handed Russia's Vladimir Putin a major geopolitical prize by lifting sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Now he is asking the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, to increase fossil-fuel production. Does that make any sense to you?

And what are the results of Biden's actions? An energy crisis consisting of higher gas prices and reliance on other countries, like China and Russia, for oil. This is Biden's energy future and the future the liberal Democratic Party wants. They are starting to implement radical energy policies that will lead to dire consequences for our country.

That's not what America is about. And that certainly isn't the Texas way.

In Texas, we value the oil and gas industry. We know that a strong Texas and American oil and gas industry gives us energy independence from foreign countries. We had energy independence under President Trump. Under President Biden, our energy industry is weakening, while the Russian energy industry is strengthening.

Texans also understand that the oil and gas industry is one of the cornerstones of the Texas economy, providing millions of jobs for hardworking Texans. Biden and his Democrat allies in Washington and in Texas continue to show that they don't care about Texas jobs, and are fine with asking other countries to supply us with oil that we are capable of producing here at home.

I'm committed to making sure Texas and the oil and gas industry remain friends, and I would like for you to join me. May I count on your financial support of $5-10-25 or more today to help fight the Democrats who are trying to destroy the Texas economy? [[link removed]]

Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.

Sincerely,

Dan Patrick [[link removed]]
