[link removed] [[link removed]]Hi Friend,
The news has been especially heavy this week. The recent global events including the devastation in Afghanistan and the earthquake in Haiti, have been a reminder that the U.S. has a moral responsibility to protect displaced individuals. We cannot forget that each number we hear on the news is a human being fleeing a specific situation in search of safety.
In these times, the U.S. should not add to the chaos and instability. The Biden Administration must step up to help the refugees of Haiti and Afghanistan. In particular, deportation to Haiti must end and we must expand TPS. The U.S. must also use every single level of power to evacuate and resettle as many Afghans as possible.
America’s Voice wants to amplify, commend, and provide resources to organizations who are on the ground ensuring that refugees are not being left behind.
Please consider supporting these organizations who are lifting their voices and advocating for safety. [[link removed]]
