Friend,

When I tuned in to the Democratic debate with the rest of the country, I was optimistic. Surely with so many passionate, capable candidates on stage, the climate crisis would get the much-needed airtime and attention they deserve. But the moderators didn’t ask a single question about it.

Tom spent the most time up on that stage — out of all 12 candidates! — talking candidly to millions of viewers about the climate crisis, and how we need to work together as a global community to stabilize it. His response made my heart swell, and reminded me why I’m working to elect him as our next president.

The American people deserve to hear about this issue, and the November debate needs to be better. If you think the next debate needs to focus more on climate solutions, add your name here. [link removed]

Tom and I have been working together on environmental advocacy for the past 10 years, and his Justice-Centered Climate Plan [link removed] offers a practical, actionable, and bold way forward. As president, he’s committed to declaring a national climate emergency on day one and will work with the global community to preserve our planet.

We just don’t have the time to stop talking about climate change — let us know that you’re with us on this [link removed].

Thanks,

Vien
