** Who is your LGBTQ Hometown Hero?

Do you know an LGBTQ person who has made a difference in their community in the past year? Someone who is inspiring you to do better? A friend or neighbor who is changing the world?

Our annual awards program, LGBTQ Nation Heroes ([link removed]) , honors LGBTQ people and close allies who made us proud this past year with their achievements, activism, art, and hard work. But we need your help uncovering the amazing people we don't yet know about.

Nominate a Hometown Hero in your life by filling out this short form ([link removed]) by August 31 to share how they inspired you this past year. Then be sure to vote in the other Heroes categories starting September 1. We’ll announce winners and the Hometown Hero after voting closes at the end of the month.
