John,
The Senate and White House recently agreed to an infrastructure bill that will lock us into more greenhouse gas emissions and the worst impacts of climate change, and leave our water infrastructure to crumble.
The good news is that the House still hasn’t agreed to this bad deal, and it can still fight to fix these backwards priorities. We can’t let our representatives fumble this opportunity to create a better future!
Urge your representative to improve the infrastructure package by removing fossil fuel handouts and fully funding our water systems!

The Senate infrastructure proposal gives fossil fuel companies exactly what they’re hoping for – nearly $30 billion in subsidies that will lock us into climate chaos.
Meanwhile, our water infrastructure is crumbling across the country. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says we need to invest at least $35 billion per year, yet this plan only provides $10 billion annually – less than one third of the funding we need to ensure that everyone has access to clean, affordable water.
It’s time to flip these backwards priorities. We can fight to combat climate change and ensure everyone has access to clean water with this bill. Send a message to your representative today!

Last month, you fought with us to get water privatization schemes removed from the infrastructure package – and it worked! Water privatization scams were absent from the most recent bipartisan infrastructure framework. This victory goes to show that it is possible to influence our legislators and secure the future we all deserve when we make our voices heard.
Let’s keep up the momentum and fight for a bold, uncompromising infrastructure package that provides real federal funding at the level our communities urgently need.
Send a message to your representative today: Do not compromise on our water, and stop fossil fuel handouts.
