Good afternoon friend,

Last week we launched a crowdfunder
[[link removed]] - we needed £15,000 to pay for ads in the British Medical Journal to push back
against Baroness Finlay’s false claims that doctors don’t support assisted
dying.

When I checked how we were getting on yesterday, I thought there had been some
kind of mistake. I double checked the numbers, then checked again with our
Director of Fundraising. In just one week, your generosity and commitment to the
cause, your anger at opponents' tactics, and your belief that change is coming,
meant that our £15,000 crowdfunder raised £43,907. Almost triple what we asked for.

See for yourself - it's astonishing

I can’t thank you enough. Over the next few weeks we will be embarking on the most ambitious and
sustained piece of campaigning that we’ve ever attempted. Between now and the
end of the year, we will be spearheading campaigns in both the House of Lords
and the Scottish Parliament, to capitalise on this unique and historic
opportunity for the assisted dying movement in the UK.

Every successful campaign in recent history has had supporters just like you to
thank for their victories. When we win - and we will - it will be because you took action at critical
moments like this when we need to act fast and hit hard.

With the extra money we’ve received, we’ll be able to really make some noise and
fuel momentum parliamentarians can’t ignore.

Once again - thank you.

Dignity in Dying

Our campaign is powered by our supporters - like you. We’re 100% funded by
individual donations, so we can keep fighting, together, to change the law on
assisted dying in the UK. Could you chip in today?
