In 2019, the Supreme Court decided in a 5-4 ruling that partisan gerrymandering raises a political question that is beyond the reach of federal courts.

Not… great.

Then, NewDems and their other Democratic colleagues tried to put an end to partisan gerrymandering by passing The For The People Act , only to have it STOPPED by Republicans in the Senate (for now).
