As we near the end of the August recess, it's important to keep advocating loudly for health and health care while Members of Congress are back in their home districts. Keep using our August recess advocacy toolkits and check out the most recent resources and events to help support your work:

* NEXT THURSDAY: Join us and other advocates from 12:00-12:30PM ET to #UniteForHealthCare on Twitter and dial up the pressure on Congress to center health in the upcoming package! * APPLY BY 8/23 for Health Equity Academy Fellowships: Applications for our 2021 Health Equity Academy Fellowships are open and the deadline is Monday, August 23rd! The goal of the fellowship is to cultivate a group of advocates nationwide who are equipped to engage in federal and state health equity advocacy over a year-long period.
