August has been our slowest month for email fundraising this summer. We ran an analysis of where we're currently at compared to where we were by the 20th day of other months, and here's what we found:
The bad news is that this is a pretty significant decrease, even after taking into account the fact that campaign fundraising sees a slowdown during the summer. If we can't make up the difference in our fundraising soon, we'll have to make adjustments to our plans for the coming months at a time where we really can't afford to slow down.
Thankfully, the good news is that the month isn't over yet, and we still have time to shore up our fundraising gap before we have to think about rolling back our plans.
