If you’re passionate about gun violence prevention and bringing progressive change to our criminal legal system, we invite you to apply to the 2021 GP Justice Summit. The free, virtual event takes place September 28 and 29.  

We’re bringing together policy experts, activists, and advocates to foster a conversation about how to tackle gun violence and harms of the criminal legal system through trainings, panel discussions, and network-building opportunities. It’s an opportunity to build connections and put forth solutions to the gun violence crisis and the injustices of our criminal legal system. 

Attendance is ideal for people who are early in their careers, or newer to the gun violence prevention and criminal justice reform space. Attendees will be equipped  with foundational information and strategies, and connected to the broader movement. At Generation Progress, we believe that people closest to the issues are the ones closest to the solutions, so those directly impacted by these issue areas are encouraged to apply. 

We are living in a critical moment in our country’s history, but young people are a vital piece of the social justice movement—and that’s because we get shit done. Together, we can make progress on gun violence prevention and criminal justice reform.
